Masterclass with Warren Jones and Minnesota Opera Resident Artists
During this masterclass, Mr. Jones will work with each of the MN Opera’s Resident Artist singers on pre-selected operatic repertoire. Each singer will be allotted 20 minutes and will be accompanied by Resident Artist pianist Erica Guo. Program includes an audience Q&A with Warren Jones—one of the most celebrated collaborative pianists of our time, known for his work with Marilyn Horne, Stephanie Blythe, Thomas Hampson, Kathleen Battle, Samuel Ramey, and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

ABOUT WARREN JONES
Warren Jones has a distinguished career as one of the most important collaborative pianists of the past half century. He has given recitals on the world’s most important stages, collaborating with Samuel Ramey, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Marilyn Horne, Eric Owens, Kathleen Battle, and Stephanie Blythe among countless others. He has had a long collaboration with the chamber ensemble Camerata Pacifica and has conducted operas by Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Mascagni, Menotti, and the world premiere of A Christmas Carol at Houston Grand Opera. Mr. Jones’ discography includes 32 recordings on every major label, featuring diverse content, styles, and periods.
