Luminary Arts Center
700 N 1st St, Minneapolis, MN 55401
The Luminary Arts Center, formerly The LAB Theater, is a 6,000 square foot warehouse turned playing space. Converted into a performance venue by The Guthrie Theater, who sought a “Laboratory” space for experimental and unique works, the building, not unlike the neighborhood it resides in, is rich in history. With time, the theater has taken on new ownership and grown, feeling like home to a number of independent productions. Its accommodating capacity and stunning brick walls lend the ultimate backdrop to each and every production.
