Voices of Opera

Making a joyful noise with older adults | Minnesota Opera will continue its successful education initiative, Voices of Opera, a community opera chorus ideal for older adults. Whether you have sung in the church choir for years or last sang in your high school choir, Voices of Opera encourages you to join fellow musicians to perform famous operatic excerpts and other choral favorites. Dale Kruse, Music Director for Voices of Opera, will lead the program and will be accompanied by Emily Urban.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our creative aging programs “Opera Connections” and “Voices of Opera” are on a hiatus for the 2021–2022 Season. In the meantime, take a listen to our Opera Connections Podcast series, where our teaching artists Pablo Siqueiros and Marcia Aubineau dive deep into the story and themes of Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni.
