Project Opera Masterclass

Project Opera apprentices will perform in a masterclass with Dr. Caroline Helton at Bemis Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

Music Out Loud One Act Performance

Our El Sistema-based after school program is performing their one-act student-written play with music, titled “Orphans in Santa Fe.”

Late-Night Sing-Along

Thursday, November 17, 2018
All are welcome to this post-performance event immediately following the November 17 performance of Silent Night. Pianist Lori Dokken and vocalist Rachel Holder Hennig will perform and lead the crowd in piano-bar style popular tunes and songs of hope.

Career Day at the Opera

Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10am-2pm | $30
High school singers (grades 9-12) will perform in a master class (optional), learn how to prepare for an audition, tour the scene and costume shops, and meet the people behind the creation of a professional opera. A Q&A session with Minnesota Opera’s Resident Artists will also offer an opportunity for students to learn what the future can hold for young performers.
