Tempo Volunteer Council

Applications are open for the 21-22 Tempo Council! This volunteer group works in tandem with MN Opera staff to guide and grow our Tempo program for operagoers ages 21-45.  

Council members are active throughout the Opera by contributing to audience cultivation and serving on committees of the Opera’s governance board. The council continually works to break down barriers and address perceptions that prevent people from attending the Opera, helping to ensure that activities are open, welcoming, and accessible in accordance with MN Opera’s anti-racist and anti-oppressive values. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in arts advocacy, engagement, or joining a board someday. Read more about the program here.
