Offstage: Edward Tulane

Mark your calendars: stock up on some locally sourced produce and enjoy some family fun and opera outdoors! MN Opera will be hosting Family Opera Time exploring the season opener Edward Tulane at the Midtown Farmer’s Market on Saturday October 1st from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. This fun and engaging musical story time is led by MN Opera’s School Programs Manager, Sara Sawyer. She will lead a program of exciting excerpts from Edward Tulane’s miraculous journey coupled with interactive activities for everyone. Families encouraged—be sure to have the kids ready to draw and have musical fun!

Midtown Farmers Market
The Midtown Farmers Market is located at a public plaza at Lake and Hiawatha in the Corcoran neighborhood. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, but patrons are especially encouraged to walk, bike, roll, and take transit to the market.
