Gala Health and Safety

MN Opera’s annual fundraising event planned for April 2, 2022, is an opportunity for our community to celebrate the work of the company and invite the support that powers our mission.

We have every hope and intention to hold our gala event in person this year, just as we are moving forward with our plans to produce live performances. Given the current information available, we are optimistic about our ability to hold this event in person as planned.

In the event Beyond the Gala should need to be cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic, we will rely on our supporters to determine the best use of any gift they have already contributed to this event in support of MN Opera’s mission and artist community. We would be grateful to accept your investment as we exit the pandemic but would honor the request of any donor who wishes their donation to be refunded.

Health and Safety

MN Opera takes the health and safety of our community seriously and your safety is our top priority. The company is following public safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health. Given the developing nature of the Covid-19 pandemic, safety measures will be communicated closer to the event date. Staff is always available for questions.

Vaccination Policy

For the health and safety of our guests and MN Opera artists in active production, we require all guests to present proof of either full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to attending Beyond the Gala. Masks are encouraged and welcome, but not required.

If you have any questions about these event guidelines, please contact [email protected], or contact Patron Services, M-Th, 10am-5pm, at 612-333-6669
