Yulin Wang

The Opera Magazine once praised Tenor Yulin Wang’s debut at Lincoln Center in Alice Tully Hall as Kalaf in Ferruccio Busoni’s opera Turandot, “The standout voice, wielding a substantial, honeyed tenor with confidence—an increasing in dramatic sensitivity and passion as the performance went on.” He was also commended in other media as having “a strong instrument cutting right through the orchestration” and “a ringing bright tenor with an easy pingy top.”

Yulin performs opera and art song including Classical, Bel canto, Romantic and Contemporary styles. Yulin is thrilled to be joining MN Opera’s 2026-2027 season in The Many Deaths of Laila Starr in his MN Opera debut.
