Sam Clevenger

Sam Clevenger is a film editorfilmmaker, and media designer based in the San Francisco Bay area. His work as an editor ranges from narrative, to experimental, to performance, and media compositing. 
 
He has directed / edited two of his own short films, as well as cut multiple independent feature films. His work in media design and projection has been shown in San Francisco’s Z Space, and San Jose’s Zero1 Gallery. 
 
Sam graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Film and Digital Media, and a concentration in production. 
 
There he also received the 2014 Arts Division Dean’s Award for his experimental film ‘Werewolf,’ which subsequently screened in the 2014 Santa Cruz Film Festival. 

Sam is currently working with Mirabel Pictures (creators of the award-winning documentary The Genius of Marian), and editing for WeOwnTV’s awareness campaign addressing the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone.
