Emma is a freelance designer, wig builder, hair stylist, and makeup artist based out of the Twin Cities area. She has been working professionally in hair, makeup, and wigs for theater for just over 7 years and has been lucky enough to work with many incredible companies in her home state of Minnesota such as; Theatre Latte Da, Guthrie Theater, Children’s Theatre Company, Ten Thousand Things, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Lakes Area Music Festival, and more. She made her Minnesota Opera debut as run crew and hair and makeup artist in 2018 and made her design debut in 2021. She has also enjoyed working across the country with various notable companies including; Santa Fe Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Geva Theater, Boston Lyric Opera, Annapolis Opera, and Utah Shakespeare Festival. Emma’s education includes a cosmetology license from Aveda Institute Minneapolis, training as an apprentice in wigs at Santa Fe Opera, and a BA in Theatrical Design from Augsburg University.
