David Wolfe

Baritone David Wolfe, from Shamokin, Pennsylvania is currently a Bailey Apprentice Artist with Palm Beach. In 2024, he made his professional debut as Sciarrone in Tosca and will be joining the choruses of Les contes d’Hoffmann and Norma. In the summer he will join Opera Theater of St. Louis as a Gerdine Young Artist where he will cover the role of Marcello in La Bohéme as well as Young Galileo/Salviati/Orion in Galileo Galilei by Philip Glass. He will make his OTSL debut performing the role of Fiorello in The Barber of Seville. In 2023, David was a National Grand Finalist in the Eric and Dominique Laffont competition hosted by the Metropolitan Opera. In the summer of 2023 he joined Des Moines Metro Opera as an apprentice artist covering Moralés in Carmen. He received his Bachelor of music from the Eastman School of Music and then his Master’s degree from Northwestern University.
