Bobbie Zlotnik

From Bobbie Zlotnik:

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. The theatre bug bit me at a very young age.

I studied voice, dance and acting at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy and Pittsburgh Musical Theatre; and later as a musical theatre at Point Park University.

While studying at Point Park University my interests shifted into the design realm of theatre and I became obsessed with wigs and make-up.

I moved to NYC in the summer of 2009 to attend The Aveda Institute for cosmetology.

Since graduating and passing my NY State Boards I have been fortunate enough to consistently work as a wig and make-up designer at several regional, collegiate and off-broadway theatres. Additionally, I have worked as a hairdresser on two dozen Broadway shows including “Wicked”, “Beautiful” (Production wig supervisor) & “Waitress”; and numerous film/tv shows including “The Gilded Age”, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Halston”.

In the spring of 2013 I launched my own online wig shop and custom wig company, www.BobbiePinz.com.

I’m a proud member of and educator for I.A.T.S.E. Local #798 hair and make-up artists.
