Gale Sharpe

Gale Sharpe is a distinguished figure in the world of opera, with a career marked by dedication and longevity. Gale’s journey with Center Opera (what would become the Minnesota Opera) began with the Walker Art Center in 1966, where she worked with John Ludwig to administer the Performing Arts Program and Center Opera. A passionate historian of MN Opera and new works, Gale holds a vast collection of artifacts, preserving the rich history of the art form.

William White

William White has been an invaluable board member of the Minnesota Opera since the start of 2016.  William is known for his community building, frequently inviting new people to the opera, creating new fans and supporters of the art form. William’s passion for opera is evident in his frequent attendance at multiple performances. He has a profound emotional connection to what he sees on stage, which often inspires him to initiate discussions about the performances, sharing his thoughts and how they relate to his own lived experiences.

Ascent Private Capital Management has been a dedicated season sponsor of MN Opera since 2012. The organization’s commitment to the arts is reflected in its active engagement with the opera community, including active board membership from its own staff including Jose Peris, Ben Ollendick, and Terry Dolan.
