Sew to Support Efforts Realized
Through the combined efforts of our volunteers and costume and scene shop employees, MN Opera was able to sew a total of 10,899 masks. Through staff, connections, and community partnerships masks were distributed to 65 distinct organizations serving many different sectors (see chart below).
In addition to these sectors, over 4,000 masks were delivered to Health Partners, several hundred to a local art museum, and a few hundred are stored for when we can all be back together again at the MN Opera Center.
