Application – Creative Development Program Director

Responsible for the administrative, programmatic, and curricular leadership of Minnesota Opera’s social emotional learning and equity- and inclusion-focused educational programs, the Creative Development Program Director has oversight over a suite of child, youth, and adult development programs and workshops, including, but not limited to, Youth Opera Circle, an afterschool music and theater program for middle school students; Youth Opera Studio, a vocal studio for high school students, which is expected to launch this fall; Stories Sing, a virtual and in-person early-childhood library program; programs, residencies, and performances aimed at school-aged youths; youth operas produced by the Impact Department; and Class Notes Opera, a virtual and in-school residency program for elementary schools (1 FTE).
