Application – Costume Administrator

The Costume Administrator works with the Costume Director in supervising the day-to-day costume shop activities, including, but not limited to, personnel, equipment, supplies, stock and rentals, and work areas upkeep. This position will act as design assistant for guest designers including the pulling of stock, online shopping, organizing of research, and archival documentation. The Costume Administrator will perform the duties of Wardrobe Supervisor for all productions. The Costume Administrator works with the Costume Director to help create and support a working and producing environment that is artistically satisfying, professional, and safe in alignment with the company’s diversity charter, intimacy, and harassment policies. As with all MN Opera employees, the Costume Administrator works to support the company’s mission to change lives by bringing together artists, audiences, and community, advancing the art of opera for today and for future generations.
