Jaime Mejia

Jaime Mejia started his education and exploration of theatre and opera at Montclair State University (2017-2020) under the mentorship of Erhard Rom as a scenic designer. An unexpected worldbuilder – Jaime tries to discover unseen points of view hidden within scripts, librettos, and scores–highlighting untapped perspectives, and details enriching narratives unfolding across stages. Mr. Mejia is making his debut as the scenic designer with L’elisir D’amore while balancing his career with different mediums of storytelling between Theater, Film, and Television. Some of his credits are production designing two short films “Three Ways Out” debuting at DWF: NYC (Dances with Film) in Fall 2023, and “Wrench” debuting soon.
