Voices of Opera

Making a joyful noise with people 55+

Minnesota Opera is proud to announce its newest education initiative, Voices of Opera, an opera chorus for adults 55+. Whether you have sung in the church choir for years or last sang in your high school choir, Voices of Opera encourages you to join with fellow musicians to perform famous operatic excerpts and other choral favorites. Matthew Abernathy, Music Director of Project Opera and Children’s Chorus Master, will lead the program and will be accompanied by Kathy Kraulik, vocal coach and accompanist for Project Opera.

No audition is required.

Joining Minnesota Opera in this project is the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, and Lyngblomsten, also in Minneapolis.

Pay what you can! Suggested $45 per person.
