Lavender Vy Truong
Lavender Vy Truong has always been a devoted young patron of the performing arts and musical world, so she is thrilled to have the privilege of debuting as a youth performer in the world premier of The Song Poet with the Minnesota Opera.
A diligent student of piano, cello and voice, Lavender has performed piano recitals at Sundin Music Hall and the Museum of Russian Art. Lavender would like to acknowledge and thank her lovely teacher Ms. Pauline Fen Hsu for her voice lessons and mentorship. She also enjoys exploring musical theater classes at Stages Theater and improv with the Stevie Ray Comedy Cabaret.
In her spare time, Lavender is an avid foodie who loves to read, sing along to musicals, study Mandarin, play basketball, snowboard and enjoys board games with her family. A recent challenge she has embraced is to learn the art of amigurumi!
Lavender is a 4th grade Navigator student from Minnetonka, MN.
