Application – Major and Planned Giving Officer

The Major and Planned Giving Officer plays a critical role in the growth of fundraising efforts and
success at Minnesota Opera. This position in Development supports the Opera’s commitment to anti-
racism and anti-oppression and is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and
stewarding major donors, closing major annual gifts, and creating and implementing a planned giving
strategy for the organization. Working with the President & General Director, the VP, Advancement,
Development team members and key volunteers, this position plays a key role in campaign and major
gift solicitation.
